WHAT: Recognizing
the Arizona Department of Commerce continues to report staggering job losses statewide, the marketplace is getting increasingly
competitive as people face stiff competition for the same jobs. University of Phoenix
is hosting a free career workshop hosted by a professional presenter to help job seekers navigate into new territory when
managing changes in their careers. University of Phoenix – Southern Arizona is hosting a free career workshop to help job seekers gain an edge when
taking the next step in their professional life. The professional presenter will teach attendees how to build their best resume
and manage career changes.
“Sometimes the best course of action for the unemployed is to find opportunities to re-career,”
said University of Phoenix – Southern Arizona Campus Director Gregg Johnson. “We want to help our neighbors consider
the many ways one’s current job skills are transferable to other careers.”
